I have been shipping horses nationally and internationally most of my life.  I have traveled with the horses as well as been the receiver of any number of horses.  Over the years I have become fairly educated to taking care of horses on both short and long trips.  My most recent shipping of a very young horse from California to Virginia introduced me to David and Jeannie of Equineinterstatetransport and I can honestly say that they will be my shippers of horses from here out.  From setting up the logistics to the trip itself to the final paperwork they were absolutely wonderful.  Everything was straightforward, easy , and the lines of communication were fantastic.  I never once worried during the trip as they were constantly in contact with me and before I could even wonder if everything was going smoothly they were telling me it was, shipping was going easily, and how plans were playing out.  I respect the face that they are horsemen and they didn't ship against the clock.  The trip was planned out in advance with multiple stops with the flexibility to change if something came up such as rough weather or an unexpected event with a horse.  Having met them in person just made me that much more comfortable as they are just as kind and down to earth as they were on the phone... the kind of people you would feel lucky to call a friend.  I very highly recommend them and their company and to anyone who has shipping needs from short hauls to national shipment.

I want to thank you for the excellent service we received from your company. My daughter and I were visiting relatives nearly 500 miles from our home, when we found the most magnificent Peruvian Paso Gelding and purchased him.... without any idea of how we would get him back to our Pony Club in Southern California!

While looking for horse trailers to borrow or buy on craigslist, I decided to place my own ad seeking transport.  I received over 40 email offerings to transport our new horse. After conversing with several, I began to fear for the safety and the possibility of theft of our new horse!

You actually saved me money when you suggested we join our horse with another horse who was coming South to Santa Anita California.

Our new horse was an inexperienced traveler who was a pain to load, but your team did a fantastic job with gentleness and no trauma! When he arrived at our Pony Club, he stepped out like a king and walked into his new home.
